Provision
We offer food, clothing, and furniture to those who need it.
Provision.
We offer a range of provision services:
- Food
- Clothes
- Furniture
Our provision services are designed to help people in need in the short-term so they can focus on long-term solutions.
You need to be referred to us from another organisation so that we can help you. Other organisations we work with include charities, churches, schools, health and social work services.
If you would like an organisation to refer you to Storehouse you need to direct them to our main website found here:
When you have a referral letter call in during the following times to register:
- Monday 10.00 – 12.00
- Tuesday 10.00 – 12.-00
- Wednesday 13.30 – 15.30
- Thursday 13.30 – 15.30
Times may change due to holidays. Check the timetable on the home page for any closures.
Food
We have a food shop where you’re able to choose the items you need including toiletries.
The food shop is by appointment only. You can book an appointment by calling in during the times at the top of this page or call us on 028 9023 6333
Our food shop works on points and each person or family are given a set number of points to use:
- Points are valid for six months and can be used against items in the shop which all have different point values
- The number of points you receive depends on how many people are in your household
- There is a maximum and minimum number of points to spend on any one visit
- You will need to spend your food points across different categories
Clothes
We offer a range of mens, women’s, and children’s clothes.
Our clothes shop is appointment only. You can book an appointment by calling in during the times at the top of this page or call us on 028 9023 6333
Our stock can change depending on donations and demand. However you should be able to book another appointment if you are unable to find everything you need.
- Clothes appointments can be booked in person at North Street Belfast
- There are limits on the number of items each person can take. For example an adult can only take one coat.
- Each household can have one clothes appointment every six months
Furniture
We offer furniture to those who are moving into a new property and do not have any furniture of their own.
The referral process for furniture is more strict than for food or clothes. You will need another organisation to make the referral on your behalf through the link on our main website here: Storehouse Furniture Referral.
We aim to supply main furniture items:
- Living room furniture: sofas, armchairs, tables
- Kitchen furniture: tables, chairs
- Bedroom furniture: single and double beds, mattresses, wardrobes, bedside tables
- We are sometimes able to offer electrical appliances depending on donations
- We are unable to supply electric or gas cookers due to health and safety
